Vaughan Williams’ lovely The Lark Ascending, featuring guest violinist Scott Moore, Sir Edward Elgar’s poignant Serenade and his rousing Introduction and Allegro, Benjamin Britten’s youthful Simple Symphony, and Gerald Finzi’s Prelude and Romance will be the featured works in an afternoon of delightful listening.
